According to the website, maintenance is as easy as having a regular tank. It does come with a cleaning kit so it must be designed just for this tank. Wow..talk about having a really unique looking tank. This is a tank designed by Octopus Studios (thanks for the link from my friend!) called the “Silverfish Aquarium” and the first few things that come to mind is ‘how do you clean it’ and ‘what happens when all the fishes want to be in one of the domes?’. haha.

If I were a fish in there, I would get lost! How do you plant stuff into the three bottom ones (the ones which you can only access through the tubes)? Is each “ball” five gallons? Looks interesting, not sure if I would want that though…
I saw this too Personally, I think it’s a pretty dope idea but in reality … I would NOT want to deal with that sucker. Cleaning a regular aquarium is enough work already! Someone should start a blog about their exploits with this tank so the rest of us can learn from their experiences. Definitely in sync with how I think though … I’ve always wanted an aquarium with “hamster tubes.”

Did you keep a gerbalfish in there or a hamsterfish?
That’s a pretty interesting and cool looking tank. Very neat and interesting to look at but I wouldn’t want to have to try and clean that tank. That would be a task and a half.
