I was just about to go snooze when I went onto Yahoo! and saw that they found even more undiscovered species! The one that caught my eye was the purple frog they found. They also found a dwarf catfish that looked interesting…. purple fluorescent frog, of the genus Atelopus and discovered during a follow-up survey of the Nassau plateau in mid 2006 by Surinamese scientists Paul Ouboter and Jan Mol, is seen in this undated handout photo. The frog is one of 24 new species found in the South American highlands of Suriname, conservationists reported on June 4, 2007, warning that these creatures are threatened by illegal gold mining. That’s an awesome frog!!!
I think I had read it somewhere that these frogs can be very dangerous. They secrete some sort of a venom from their skins or I might be wrong!
Wait till Brinny sees this!!
I want one
what can they do. how far can they jump. how many years ago where they found.
