I'm looking for a tank in the 30-60 gallon range. I'm 2 hours from Buffalo, NY and the same from Erie, PA and about 3 hours north of Pittsburgh. I have been kinda looking on Ebay and Craigslist but I'm having a tough time finding something decent. If anybody is in this area of western PA and NY or happen to know of something else for sale on another forum or anything just let me know.

Thanks,
Eric

I'm about 6-7 hours from philly so unfortunately those ones probably won't work out too well for me. Thank you for looking though. I'm going to browse around there again tonight and see if I can find something decent thats a little bit closer.

Sometimes it will take some waiting to find a tank you like on Craigslist or similar sites. Have patience, you'll find one. If you have a local fish club, it's probably worth joining, there are usually people with tanks they want to sell or give away.

You could join Freecycle and post to see if anyone has a tank you'd like.

By the way, shipping tanks isn't usually a good idea, and is expensive.

All three cities you mention have fish clubs.
Joining those clubs may find you people in your area who could help you out.
I belong to 2 clubs over 3 hours away from where I live.
Both have been a source of great fish and great friendship with the folks involved.

I have searched for these clubs but I can't find any around this area. Do you have any links for these clubs?

Thanks for looking for stuff for me. I really live in the middle of nowhere so its hard to get anything decent anywhere close. I live near Bradford, PA its 2 hours from Buffalo, NY and 2 hours from Erie, PA. I would like something from one of those two areas if possible because I know those cities well. I don't know if there is anybody on the forum from those cities that had an extra tank or could suggest a LFS that normally has really good deals. There are a few tanks on craigslist from those areas but right now they seem to either cost a ton or seem to be in poor shape.
