adjusting filter flow

what should i be looking for to lower the flow of my filter i have looked and it doesnt look like there is a nob or anything???

you could try putting some foam over the intake tube

i have fish that have mated and i am afraid the baby is going to get sucked up

well then the foam will definitely help them not get sucked up

Yeah foam is a great idea! Other people use the toe of a pair of unused pantyhose, or buy a sponge prefilter (Amazon.com: Fluval A1387 Edge Pre-Filter Sponge: Electronics).
