You obviously haven't had geometry yet. To reach the center of the tank is farther than straight down. And stretching to reach can put pressure on the sides of the tank. I definitely have the same problem OC has with two of my tanks.

*face palm* SS, you will learn in 2 years about Geometry and the Pythagorean Theorem. I'm going in Pre-Calculus next year. I'm debating on taking Trigonometry. Should I?? When it comes to math, I'm a year above most people. In middle school I took Albegra 1 AP, last year I took Geometry (when most people took Algebra 1), and now I'm taking Algebra 2. So the teacher thinks that everyone took Algebra 1 last year. Uh, no...I took Geometry last year, thank you very much!! I:'m the only person in my class going on to Pre-Calculus next year. Darn.
