1 heater or 2?

A 250W heater is good up to 75G. would it be better to get 1 of those for the whole tank... oooor a combination of 2 one on each end? what do you guys think?

Two is better.
Neither will have to work as hard ( and that may lead to them lasting longer) and you have a more even heat across the tank.
Also, if one goes out, you are still covered.

I agree with Dino as well. I had my heater go out in my 55 and had to get a new one. this was in the winter with a poorly heated basment. having another one in the tank would have been helpfull and less stressful considering my lfs was closed and couldn't get a new one for 2 days. So I would go with 2 just to be safe.
