I think my African Dwarf Frogs ate one of my tetras... Would that be possible?

Edit: or maybe the betta?

i dont know about the frog, but im pretty sure the bettas stomach is to small to acctually eat a tetra

the frog is about half an inch long and the betta is about an inch

i have a hard time beliving a frog can eat an entire tetra, pretty sure the betta didnt though.

I looked in the meany filter which just ate one of my frogs and there isnt a tetra in there. The tetras are about a quarter of an inch if not smaller... if that helps any? I read somewhere that bettas and AFDs can eat live food but they didnt say what.

Are you sure it's an ADF, not an African clawed frog?

look on the back feet of your frog, and if you see tiny black claws, you have an african clawed frog. adfs have webbed front feet, acfs dont.

It is an AFD I know that much for sure... :| I found out when disassembling my filter to take it back the missing tetra was in there. Evil filter!! I took it to the lfs and found out that the filter I bought was missing the strainer part.
