10,000K Ocean Sun light on Freshwater?

I have a 48" twin tube on my 55 gallon. One of my lights is a 40watt colormax white light. I just put in a 10,000K OceanSun beside the colormax that is most often used on Saltwater. I have a Live Planted tank. Anyone know if it is a good idea to keep this light and the 40watt over my freshwater? Just trying to get opinions. Someone told me it may not be good, but I'm thinking the plants might like it.

Sure, it won't hurt.
the blue in the spectrum might wash out the plants thou. I prefer 5,000K or 6325.
