10 gallon prop. tank.

I've been trying to figure out a way to have fun with this hobby now that im starting to get bored of it. I keep seeing all the coral prop tanks with beautiful frags growing in them. So I figured, why not make a nice little prop tank? The tank is 10 gallons, I have a 96 watt coralife fixture that hasnt been used in a while, and extra eggcrate that i can use to build shelves for different level corals. Softies on bottom, SPS on top. Only probelm is I dont have anything to glue the shelves together with. Would a hot glue gun be safe? If not What would be a reef safe glue?

Superglue is reef-safe. A lot of people use superglue gel for gluing frags.

You could also use reef-safe epoxy, but it will look a little messier.

Failing that, zip ties would work.

Asked around on reef forum and Hot glue is safe, just doesnt bond that well I'm just going to cut noteches in pvc pipe for the eggcrate to fit with, then glue them.
