10g Guppy Tank

Okay I want to know a couple of things. How many guppies can I have in a 10g?the stocking is going to be this:

Female Guppy
2 Oto Cats

Now I am going to keep some of the fry and sell the rest so that is why I am asking.

LOL, I plan on keeping a good ratio of males to females. probally wanting to keep 3 males and 6 females. Would that be alright? I am going to be selling the babies.

If you're going to be trying to raise the babies in the same tank, get a male and two females. Actually, that would be a better stocking plan anyway. If you're planning to breed fish, the better the water quality, the better the quality of babies you'll have.

Keep in mind that breeding guppies is not profit worthy. Takes thousands of guppies to make any sort of money. Believe me, I checked.

Most places only buy them for $0.50 Each. You could sell them as feeders to local people.

yeah, my lfs only buys them for $0.30. Plus they breed so fast, and you'd have to wait till they're big enough to sell, which means you'd need more tank space... too much hassell.

I have just bought guppies and I would have to sell the babies when the adults start breeding*rollseyes My LFS has a 1/4 credit of the original price of the fish's original price( so $2/4=.50) My LFS sells guppies for 5 bucks each so when I go in to sell around 20, I'll make around 25 bucks$$$$$$
