Hey folks,

Well, I should have known better, I decided to help a newbie... He asked for some help with a hood, having lots of time on my hands - I figured what the hell... Needless to say, I got burned, now I have a hood I don't really need, and I'm out a few bucks.

I started to use it on a 10g I'm setting up for the Iron Aquascaper Challenge, but then I changed my mind and went for a 2 x 13w PC hood instead... So this one is surplus again.

It is a very BASIC hood, 2 15w NO flourescents (Used, from the supplied hoods for my 55g) There are no hinges for feeding or maintenance (Just lift the whole hood off) I replaced the back panel, so it can be custom cut to fit whatever filtration you need. Wiring for the lights is as factory, Just removed it from the 55's plastic light fixtures and mounted it in the hood. Will come with the 2 bulbs shown - They're "Eclipse Natural Daylight F15/T818".

It's built from 1/4" Plywood, assembled with a few 1/2" finishing nails, but mostly polyurethane glue (doesn't break down in humidity like white glue) Gloss white paint on the inside, better than a cheap reflector, flat black on the outside.

I'll consider any offer, Looking for about 20-30$ canadian. (That's as cheap as a new hood - but at least this one has enough light for a planted tank)

You might notice a few little paint 'bald' spots in the pictures, not sure why that is, I'll go over those areas again...
