Well its really growing in nicely now... Lots of pruning required every day!

Did add some driftwood, using it to hopefully block off the Val from growing into the main 'open' area of my tank.

Also added some Hemianthus Callitrichoides today (Helps when you unpack the tropica shipment for the LPS :) )

Residents are:
6 Skirted tetras (aka black widow tetras or black skirt tetras)
2 Chinese algae eaters
2 Albino Corys
1 Algae eating shrimp

Planted residents:
Vallisnera
Hygrophilia Polysperma
Hemianthus Callitrichoides
and some form of amazon sword (slowly getting swallowed under the Hygrophilia)

Tank is a 10G regent "deluxe" (walmart acrylic special) 13w PC lighting (With DIY reflector upgrade), Whisper HOB filter (soon might be replaced by a ACmini), and a 50w heater. Substrate is Epoxy coated rock (Stuff you find cheap at Walmarts fish section). I'm running DIY CO2, and I use PlantGro NPK (0.6 - 0.3 - 2.4) Fertilizer.

I would lose the CAE , they may be working now, but you will hate them later.

I tried plantgro, and didn't like the results. It lacks some trace elements you will need if you upgrade the lighting. I only used it because it contained some nitrAte and phosphates, which I lack.

That 10 gallon looks really nice.

Yeah, the CAEs will probably be relatively temporary, they do a great job right now on algae though. Eventually they'll go back to the LPS. Maybe to trade on some more young ones. SAEs and ottos aren't to be found at my LPS, so I work with what I can get...

Plantgro is all that I can get locally, so I'm working with it; I'll be ordering some flourish excel or similar in the near future, at the moment tho, it works pretty darned good; when I do w/c's and replace the lost fert, the growth spurt is phenominal. (root growth is excellent too)
