I just noticed that the 10G I was going to use for shellies is seeping, espically on the bottom, and left front side seam.

Is there anyway I can repair this without tearing down the tank? Or if I *do* have to tear down the tank, how can I go about fixing it?

hmmm. if there is a way to repair it without breaking it down, id like to know too, for future reference.:D

the problem should be as simple as resealing the inside of the tank with aquarium sealant. let it sit until it dries, and set the tank back up. good luck*thumbsups

It would be economical, but what better chance would you have to learn how to repair them? Also, since it's pretty new *gets irked* I don't just want to pitch it.

Can anyone give me a good site with step-by-step instructions with photos? I guess it's going to haveta be done.

I decided to go about cleaning out the seeping *waves fist* tank. Unfourtunantly I'm a bit broke to run out and get a new one.

I spent a good many hours on my patio this morning scraping old seals and reeking of vinegar. Becides, if I get a new tank, then I have to get new everything cause I'll want to put it into operation too. :D

Now, I DID save all the water from when I drained it. Should it be good enough to throw back in?
