well depends on the tank size it its a 10 gallon u could get like 3 dwarf gourami but get only 1 kind of gourami thats not a dwarf.
if u want dwarfs i like the powder blue dwarf gourami
but if u get one thats not a dwarf get a kissing gourami or gold or opaline they are quite nice.

We have both a dwarf neon blue and an opaline (in different tanks) and I have to say both have been hardy fish, but not overly aggressive. As you have a large tank, you could go for one of the full-size types as a centrepiece fish. :) Just pick one that looks healthy. Their colours usually get much better when they settle into your tank.

actually i am sure that a honey gourami (colisa sota) would be the best choice. it is easy to keep in a community aquarium, or a species aquarium if u want to breed them. feed them on small live and frozen foods and when ready the will build a bubble nest!
