2 bettas w/divider???

I just purchased a cheap 1 gallon tank with UGF and pump and am already thinking of upgrading. I was checking out the mini-bow 2.5gal tanks, and it says that it comes with a divider to house 2 bettas. Is a 2.5gal big enough to house 2 bettas, and is it safe to house 2 bettas. I heard that housing 2 bettas near each other will make them more colorful, but I wasn't sure if it is healthy for them. Also, is the mini-bow 2.5 a good choice for a small desktop aquarium to house one betta???

A 2.5 would work well for one betta or 2 (with the divider). I haven't tried two, but I do know that there is indeed enough room for 2 (it's a little more room than a 1g) and that it doesn't do any harm for them to flare at each other for a while. They tend to flare and attack the divider for a short time, then get used to each other with only occasional flaring.
