2 blue rams always fighting

ive had 2 blue rams for about 2-3 weeks now and they seem to alway be fighting and one of them is beating the other one up all the time. should i permanently seperate them or is this normal? i believe i have a male and female, i think its the female that keeps gettin hassled.

same happened with me for about 1 day. they should get along ok. and if not seperate them with a divider until you can give one a home away from the other

hmmmm well.... did you buy them from the same tank ? did add them at the same time ??? it could be possibe you have 2 males.. because males always fight

yeah i got them in the same tank at the same time but thats what i was thinkin...maybe they're both males

You can tell if they are both males (provided they are not stressed; cause they loose all color then) by a pink belly (female) and/or blue dots. Males have blue dots all over their bodies and females only have them inside the black circle on the head.
