2 New Corals today

LFS man hasn't a clue what they are and neither do I, but they are nice and both are about 4 inches tall.

both are acros for sure... the one looks kinda like a ORA pearlberry.. i guess youll have to wait n see how they color up!

I have a question about these two corals. They have been in my tank for a few weeks now and the coral in the fist pic has turned dark and the coral in the second pic, I don't think it has died but, I think I might have placed it to high in the tank and moved it down in the tank last night to see if it might get some color back, I think it might have bleached out because of because of tank placement. Is this normal for both corals? I will get my wife to take some new pics tonight.

acros can bleach from the light but more likely an alk problem

One of them died and the other I put in a friends tank. I need to do so up dates to my tank and am working on that.

Let us know how it goes! I'm scared to do much reef! Are u still cycling yours?

My tank is cycled, I just feel I jumped into getting a few SPS corals before I had the tank set up the way I should before attemting the SPS corals. I want to get a better skimmer, Kalk stirrer, GFO and Carbon reactors and set up a refugium in my sump. I also am wanting to get a monitor - controller of some sort, but that will be last on my list.
