They already tried out the plate and the plate didn't care at all :) ..they tried to compete a little bit, doing their "dance" or what i call "nemo's ceisure"
...funny to watch. I kept a clown 3 years, never a pair.
Lorna, your is hosting a trumpet ? Kinda small hey ? I wonder what goes into their little brains ( considering the trumpet and my old nemo in love with the powerhead ). Ahh instinct.
I was at another LFS the other day...there was this little false perc jumping on an anemone stuck vertically at the top of the tank, nearly jumping in the overflow and the little dude wanted so hard to get in. He was speeding just to get in and using his fins to get hooked...but in vain..trying all the time.
Cute and sad. Didn't want to get him alone..the small anemone was a rip off...120$ for a little crappy one so i passed.

$120 for a rose anemone right? thats still pretty hight...
aquatic gallery sells a 1"-1.5" rose for like $70 which suxs....

theres this getto LFS that i'll never go back to again...but they sold this huge rose anemone for like $60 its probably well over 9"...but pretty bleached...

i would get it but its probably dying already...and dont have a tank big enough...

i find it funny that u said "inmates" but thats the dark truth in aquariums....

actually i didn't even checked out what kind of anemone it was..in any cases, it's a lfs not really specialised in fishies and all..so it can be expensive.
A pet shop that smells like a hamster cage. You get the idea ;)
13$ for simple fiji LR...argh.
Anyways, i was on my way to a real reef store and wanted a false perc badly.
Luckily i found those two medium sized percs in a good store where the water is always optimal and the boss changes the water weekly...rare in those kind of stores.

its rare for LFS to change water because most of them have all the tanks connected so your talking about thousands of gallons of water. my LFS has a huge protein skimmer (most do) so that helps.

and it gets expensive...

for the LR how much did i weight?

lol for that pet store that smells like hamster tell them to get a air ionizer...

i know the dude at the store...i see him changing the water...yes he does have an 8000$ monstruous octopus skimmer ( the one that look like an 10 person bong ) but i already checked the params in the bag and the water is pristine. The dude has an ethic..also he fill the bags with oxygen, not ambiant air...and i've seen worse : a dude blowing in the bag...mhh.
If you're talking about the new rocks i have..pretty much 20 pounds.
Hmmm i think i will not tell them to get an air ionizer, the smell is encrusted IN the floor...like 30 years of rabbit/hamster/cat/dog urine. They might wanna rebuild the store ;)
