20000K refers to the color temperature. It's pretty much the color of the light. I couldn't find a chart that went up to 20000K but you can get the idea from this
Was it new? usually the higher the K, the shorter the original intensity lasts, they tend to burn down in blueness after a while. 20K is pretty blue but it isnt that bad, all personal preference.
It's going to look quite blue, but not actinic. Bear in mind, watt for watt , a 20K bulb will put out less than a 10K or 6500, a price to pay for the colour rendition
