20 gallon planted tank: GBR or Bolivian ram

i wanted to have a 20 gal planted tank with about 12 neon tetras and a pair of either bolivian rams or gbr's. i would definitely rather have the bolivian ram but i dont know which one is smaller/more active/not delicate.any ideas

The Bolivian Ram is typically bigger, although I have seen some larger GBR varieties. I have both, and they're both equally active, although my GBR are 'trained' and actually swim to the top for food, while my Bolivian Rams only eat food that falls to the bottom.

Bolivian Rams are supposed to be hardier, but I've had a good experience with both.

bolivians get around that size but i dont think bigger
