Is it possible to keep a 20 gallon saltwater tank? I'm not talking reef or anything, just a couple clownfish, maybe a royal gramma and a ton of live rock. Oh, yeah, and some snails. Gotta love them snails!
My parents said that I couldn't have any more fish tanks. I also don't have any more room!
I was also wondering, could I keep a serpant or brittle star in a 20 gal?
brittle star would be a better choice for the reasons mentioned above. i personally wouldn't put a brittlestar in a 20 just because it would be cramping its style as it got bigger. perhaps you might consider a Fromia instead...
i had a fromia and it didnt last very long it was the size of a quarter and red i paid i think $10 for it but it lasted on a few weeks before the crabs got to it
Here's my 20 salt (please ignore horrible picture) this was taken a couple months ago. It's not difficult at all, but as with all nano's you need to be diligent with water changes and keeping an eye on temp and salinity.
I was wondering, this may sound stupid, but can the live rock we get from fish stores be kept in coldwater. I thougt it would be cool to have a tank mirrioring the rocky reefs that are off the coast. I proably wouldn't put much in, the rocks, maybe a single Catalina goby, and a few invertabres like any coldwater hermit crabs there are out there. Is that possible?
