hello guys ok im lookign around my are for a new tank a longer / bigger one that i have either with aa metal stand or a wooden stand at the mo i have found the size tanks for around £20 second hand even found one guy down the road give his away free (everything filter the lot) for a good fish keeper. but sold / got rid of it before i could get there but no worry. ok say i buy this tank and i want to move the fish into it BUT i want to put NEW gravel in this tank and not the sand i have in the old one would this be ok as im adding the walter from the old tank.? (hoep that make sence) as i don't want to loss any goodness in that it would also have the same filter same wood and same plants just differant gravel. well i ome could let me knwo if this would be safe.

Sounds good to me. If you weren't tearing the old tank down, what you can do is raid some gravel from the oold tank, put it in a filter baggie and place it in the filter or in the outflow from the filter. That way you seed the new tank with biobugs and minimise a cycle.
