225 Gallon aquarium

Its my grandmas and she will let me put pretty much anything in it (freshwater). What are some good ideas.

I'd suggest (if they're good tankmates) a stingray and a school of angels.

Depends if you want to go a few big fish or a LOT of little fish, aggressive, semi, peaceful.......

South American theme: Discus or Angels as the centerpiece school with a few large schools of tetras, a big shoal of cories, & maybe a couple plecos (maybe not the best choice with discus?) or a ton of otos?

Africans cichilds?

Asian theme: barbs, gourami(s), loaches, danios, rasboras, & SAE???

It pretty much depends on what appeals to you (and her). Do you like the look of a tank filled with lots of little schooling fish, some cichlids, or a few big fish? Keep in mind that if you go with discus, the water changes are going to be killer.

Something that basically eats flakes and is appealing. That by the way is the tank that has the 16 inch pleco , i talked about in another thread,in it.
