250 watts of 14,000K power

Got the halide I ordered the other day, moved my other one to one side of the tank, put it all together, will be hung tonight... need an extra item to help with the hanging. Looks to be working... so looks like I now have dual MH. My other one is a 10,000K, and yes there is some difference as to light and how it looks but for the most part its not really that bad... very pleasing.

Ballast to 150 watt is narrow one on left, 250 watt ballast is large box to right.

Yeah.. bout time

Fish outta water- right now I got the 150 on the left side and this 250 on the right.

OCC- as of right now I actually like the mixture, a bright sun-like light on one end with a cool crisp blue on the other... but in the future a bulb change might be in order.

Just hung it tonight Ill snap pics tommarow.

out of curiousity (and its probably to early to tell) but do you notice any fish and or inverts that stay on one side vs the other?

Yeah, does look like 2 worlds.

Good question OCC... from what Ive witnessed, the clown tends to like the right side (but then again he always did) and the coral beauty goes all over the place.... Ill keep an eye out for a pattern.
