27 Gallon Acrylic

I am planning on upgrading my main tank. My choice is a used 27 gallon acrylic tank by TruVu.

It has the same L and W as a standard 20 Gallon. I guess the added volume is done through the depth.

Any ideas on how much this should cost.

I am supposed to email the seller for an asking price.

I was thinking an asking price of $35. Is that too low?

Also, will a 27 Gallon with the same dimensions as a 20 fit be okay on a 20 G stand?

I would offer the 35. If they really want to get rid of it they will.

Edit: It turns out that the dimensions were not the same as a regular 20 gallon. The width (19") is too long for my stand. Dang it, it was a really good deal too.

I was hoping to see you get a bigger tank...especially for a good deal...

Just keep searchin' away and you'll find another good bargain on something that'll work.
