i found a betta at petco that i HAD to rescue... half of her face is rotted. she's under a heater now in her own one gallon vase- where do i start? her gills are bleeding, she looks likes she has fungus on her face right next to that (im not sure if that's fungus or if her face flesh is falling apart...) i gave her some melafix but im not sure if this is strong or fast enough. any suggestions?

yeah, don't feel sorry for fish....doh, sorry

treat her with a fungal treatment and keep her in the best water conditions possible. The gills sound like long term exposure to poor water conditions.
