29 Gallon tank ideas

In the near future I'm thinking of trying a cichlid tank. I was just looking for some good ideas for a 29 gallon tank.

With a 29gal i'd stick with Dwarf Cichlids. Apistos, African shell dwellers, rams, or kribs. I'd either go with Apistos or Shell Dwellers.

c-man what are some good shell dwellers for a 29, im also intrested in a cichlid tank.

Well, you have a few to choose from.

Might be able to get away with 2 pairs in a 29gal?

Neolamprologus multifasciatus
Neolamprologus meleagris
Neolamprologus hecqui
Neolamprologus brevis
Neolamprologus calliurus
Neolamprologus pulcher

Prob. do a pair of Lamprologus leleupi
Pair of Neolamprologus brichardi

That should get you started. I personally like the Neolamprologus multifasciatus the best.

Lamprologus ocellatus is another compelling shellie as well.
