Is it a 60" tank?

I've heard these fixtures are really good http://www.reefgeek.com/lighting/T5_Fluorescent/Sunlight_Supply/Tek_Light_Fixtures/ If it's a 60" tank, you could probably get two 24" fixtures. They don't have lunar lights, but you can easily get a separate lunar light system.

Unfortunately, if you want a full reef, lighting is going to be $$$$$. We have a tank with similar dimensions, and are hoping to upgrade from our VHO system. I doubt we'll come away with lighting for less than $700, even for a budget system.

How deep is the tank? How long is the tank? I've heard good things about the TEK T-5s too, just a little expensive....though you get what you pay for.

If you are worried about covering the length of the tank you could always just get a retrofit kit or 2 and stagger the bulbs.
Heres a 36 incher.
36" 2 x 39w T5 HO Retrofit Kit. - 36239

If you are trying to cover 60", just get like the 36" kit and then the 24" kit. 36 + 24 = 60

I got really bored so this is what i threw together, almost to scale for a 60" canopy top.
4x36" T-5 4x24" T-5 Staggered More room to add more

Same as above but with 2 Retrofit Metal Halides

Sketches drawn to a 60" length, we don't even know the dimensions of your tank yet.

Not sure what i would do. So many options that would be good its hard to choose. Either way its going to be costly to light a reef this size. Good T-5 fixtures can run as much as Metal Halides can now.
