This is in Petaluma, CA near San Francisco
New and unused acrylic 350 gallon tank. Ordered by a zoo that didn't use it. Been sitting in my garage covered with foam and plywood to serve as a storage shelf, and I have grown tired of it. It is rectangular in shape.
The tank appears to be in perfect condition. I am not a fish guy but I will attempt to answer your questions.
Here are the dimensions: 36” height, 36” width, and 72” long. The acrylic appears to be 1” thick. It’s huge and very, very heavy. Maybe four people could pick it up. I did it with three, but basically we carefully lowered one end and then the other. I’ve never managed to actually lift it in the air.
The top is also acrylic, with a large opening cut into it. I can’t easily get the dimensions of the opening as it is currently covered with a sheet of foam, two sheets of plywood and miscellaneous junk.
The tank is in my garage, so access to the street is easy.
I was told it was 400 gallons when I bought it, but since the internal volume is roughly 47 cubic feet, that works out to a hair over 350 gallons, so now I'm guessing it is really a 350 gallon tank. Maybe in fish gallons it's really 400?
