I have lost 4 of my 13 fry this week! They're almost 3 weeks old now! Just sad to see the little babies sunk at the bottom of the tank.

Is the mother having her fry in the 10 gal and then you move the fry over to the 2.5gal ?

If so ive seen when my mother guppy gives birth, only one little nip from a bigger fish and the fry die and sink to the bottom.

These were in the nursery seperated from the fish (in the 10 gal tank) then I got the 2.5 gal and took water out of the main tank and filled the 2.5 gal up and put them nursery net and all into the 2.5 for 1 hour then let them swim around.

I'm down to 4 out of 13.

My second female is about to have hers (I've said that for 2 weeks now *sigh* ) so I have her in the breeder net in the 10 gallon. I was just running out of room in the 10 gal and got a 2.5gal for the time being. My 4 are a month old now so by the time my felame has these, the 4 babies should be big enough to move back to the main tank, then put my female in the 2.5 to have those fry. I'm thinking this is alot of work, so we're getting taht 50 gal next check.
