40w or 65w?

ok i have a choice to make. going to make an order on lights and what not and i have 2 choices im looking at.
i can get the 20" 40w which ideally would fit very very well on my tank. or i can get the 24" that would look ghetto as it hung 2" off each side of the tank but would have 64w...

what do you all think?

You could build a canopy to hide that problem Or make a hanging canopy or something or the sort
