45 Gallon Tank for Sale

I live in the Vancouver BC area.

I have a 45 gallon tank in decent shape. Comes with loads of accessories:
- powerhead pump, not sure if it works very well
- Under-gravel filter and pipe but no air pump
- Glass panes for canopy, no light
- Rubbermaid tub full of crushed coral and some former live coral pieces

$150 CAD, or first reasonable offer. Shipping or delivery not included - it's bigger than my little car.

Why wont you ship, throw it in a box with those air packets around it, and then make the buyer pay shipping, although that would cost more to ship than the whole setup.

Hi folks,

I live in Port Moody, BC, which is a mere 20 minutes out of downtown Vancouver.

I would offer to ship it in a box full of air packets, but you would end up paying more for transport than for the aquarium. Also, it doesn't fit into my Civic.

I feel it's only fair to let you look at it before you buy it. There are a couple chips in the glass but no leaks, and algae had taken over before it was drained. This tank needs some TLC and some spare parts, hence the low price.

This would be fine for breeders or big-time hobbyists who won't have it as a show-piece in the living room, want low-price stuff, and have infrastructure like central pumps and room lighting.

150 CAD = 100 USD.

I'm cleaning out the garage this weekend, and one way or another, that tank is going somewhere. I'd love to sell it to one of you guys, otherwise, I'll have to take it to the local used aquarium equipment store to see what I can get.
