I would suggest a deep wallet for your friend. The last time I checked the L046? zebra plecos they were going for around $100 each.

Your friend also might want to look at having less bottom fish and more middle of the tank fish. Maybe replace the aggressive banded leporinus with more angels?

Bala sharks and banded leporinus do get big, so I wouldn't recommend them, Featherfins get pretty big too, about 8 inches. Chinese algea eaters can get fairly big, but are very aggressive, so you might want to stay away from them. If it were me, I would do an angel, a pearl gourami, a school of mid-sized shoalers, a bristle nose pleco for algea, and either an upsidedown catfish or a shoal of cory cats.

aakaakaak if you find 100.00 L046 put me down for an order of 10.... seriously I will take 10! Try closer to 200.00 on that fish.

They also max at 4" and need more or a discus/planted tank environment. They are not for the new fish keeper, they are an endangered species, that is hard to breed, and banned for import...

that stocking list is a hot mess... for a gabillion reasons...
