Well, as an adult, Zeus really should have the entire tank to himself. They get big and very messy, so I wouldn't try adding any other cichlids. A pleco and/or some barbs should be okay though.

I'm sure I sound like a hypocrite for saying so, but if I were you I'd add 3 silver dollars and leave it at that...mainly for the reasons Sinister just mentioned. Plus, the tiger barbs are likely to get eaten anyway, and a pleco will almost certainly add a significant amount of waste to the tank.

Okay, i've striked out the pleco.But im goin to leave the tigers until there all eaten.I just think they look really cool with zeus.Plus i have time anyways because its hard to find silver dollars around here.U only find them every once and a while.

Sounds like a good plan. And you never know, there is a chance that Zeus could leave them alone. Don't feel that you absolutely have to get silver dollars down the road either---I just suggested it because it's what I plan on adding as soon as I get a 75 gal. up and running for Triton, and it's the only fish I can think of that has a decent chance at survival with an oscar and doesn't get ginormous. :rolleyes:
