It has been awhile since I posted, and for good reason. Nothing new has happened to my tanks, most likely due to lack of money to spend on such things. Luckily, work has been going well and money is coming in so I was able to spend a little bit today.

My 90g has been sitting partially empty and unfiltered for several months now. As I got more and more tired of near daily water changes and some fundage I got the filter system back up and working. That has been running for a couple weeks now and I thought it was time to get some more inhabitants into the tank. I went out and bought 5 madagascar rainbows in an attempt to make a school. I also found a breeding pair of kribs at about 2-2.5 inches each for $12, for the both of them. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get such healthy sized fish for that cheap, or at least I thought they were cheap.

I headed out for plants today to fill up the empty tank and came home with fish instead. A local fish store is going out of business and has many fish and tanks for cheap, going at about a dollar a gallon. A real nice 110g display for $375 including stand. He used to have a great selection of plants, but the only plant that really caught my attention was wendti crypt about 10" tall almost just as wide. I wanted to buy it, but for $10 I can wait a couple more months and the ones I already have will be close to that size. I ended up taking some plants for various other tanks to fill in some of the void in the 90g and give the kribs some good cover.

I will have some pictures up soon, have taken the before pics, should take some tweeners and afters too, although I will be embarassed to show the before pics.

I recieved my overflow combs in the mail today, along with a 500ml bottle of Flourish. The combs are in place and I am going to wait 48 hours to fill the tank back up and get the overflow running again. This should elminate the loss of fish though, and I am happy. Pics are yet to come, I have some more stocking yet to do.

wow, I don't think I could have kept up daily water changes for a few months. lol I would have rigged something up though a 5 gallon bucket by the end of the second week (but that's me...never said I had any sence). :)

Looking forward to see some photo's!
