thanks for the feedback everyone i'll post some more pics when i get a chance.
Looks nice, I really like those zoas in the 1st pic!
ya i was really happy when i found somone local that had these got a good deal on them. when they grow out some maybe we can do a trade for some of your zoas. i know you have some that is really hard to get in my area.

Can't wait till my bird's nest grows out some like yours.
my birdsnests has been growing pretty quick compared to my other sps i have 3 other birdsnest in my tank (ora green, green w/ puple polyp and a ponape) trying to get my hands on a decent frag of a pink birdsnest and ORA's Birds Of Paradise

Off topic but... has anyone fragged a monti cap before? do i just snap off a piece with my hands or is there a better method?

Tre I don't think so, milli's corallites are sharper and more ridged and resemble scales these are rounded more like a tenuis......but then that is my opinion without actually seeing it.....just from the pic.

I just went and looked at my millis and acros and I really can't tell from that pic. I guess if it gets hairy it's a milli ;) Looks good either way!

I know some pink bird's nest was at the auction and the meeting. There's another one in a couple weeks I'll see about picking some up. My only bird's nest is yellow/green.

And there in lies the problem with corals (and just about everything else) lol. If it's "hairy" it could be *called* a "milli" as a common name. So many haven't been properly identified or classified by science yet plus throw in the problem that so many factors affect growth forms AND the possibility they could hybridize when they spawn... I'd venture that there will always be some corals hobbiests will never know the species of.
