A friend of mine is selling her turtle

#1
She recieved the little guy as a gift 2 years ago but is having issues keeping the tank up to the proper standards she would like it to be at.

This is when it was a baby, it's about twice the size now:

She had offered it to me but I only have a 5 gallon tank and with my job I'm not home enough to feed it every 2-3 days. It's fun to watch 'em in the tank swimming around and I wish I had room for it.

I have dropped her a message as she didn't get me a price for the little guy or the type of turtle it is but when she does I'll post up.

Let me know if you are interested in the little guy, she does want to find it a good home.

I know its a Red eared slider turtle, they are nice little turtles but can get large, females get up to 13" or so inches long. I used to have 2, they can be friendly and eat out of your hand if you spend time with it. I loved mine. Cant buy it tho :(

You are corect....

The turtle is a red eared slider. He is less than one year old. I think he was born in November of '06. He is free to a good home. If anyone is interested, the tank, stand, lights, heater, pump, basking dock, plants, catfish (to eat the turtle's poop), food, and everything else we have for the turtle is available for purchase at $50 (it's a steal, we bought the tank w/ stand for $100 alone). It's all in pretty good shape.

If anyone wants to contact my friend, her e-mail is:
