A Mushroom ??? Also

I have two mushrooms in the tank, a blue one and a red one and they have been in the tank for about two months now. I was just wondering how they propagate. Do they put out babies like zoas do or do they split. Just wondering, I want a few more of them and they are healthy, just aren't multiplying.

give them time, provided conditions are in order they will multiply like crazy......

Mushrooms can both split and put out babies next to the parent. It depends on the type of mushroom which type of propagation they're more likely to do.

Thanks, My purple one is in the best shape and will probley be the first on to have a baby. I kinda sorta of ( well I did, lol) messed up my red one, but I have it back on track now, It was one of three dumb things I have done, its doing good now, so, no harm no foul.

they should spread on ther own but if u want u could frag them by just cutting it right down the middle with a sharp razor and as long as each half get part of the mouth then your good to go! hardest part is getting it to attach without it getting lost in the tank.... i would just leave them and in like a year hopfuly youll have a small colony

Ricordia and Yumas will split the rest in my tank just have little babies.
