Well, I went to the LFS and saw some fish that looked exactly like GBR's, but when I asked the gal, she said they weren't. Because I was so interested, I didn't hear what she called them. They look exactly like the GBR, but about 3x bigger. I'd say they were a good 3.5 inches without the tail. 
And just as colorful. And they are not Balloon Rams either, as they have a bunch of Balloon Rams as well. And they have those larger ones separate from the GBR's, as they said they don't get along with the GBR's. Any ideas what they are? Going to go to the LFS again tomorrow and investigate. Might get some myself, they said they were more hardy than the GBR's as well.
