a new fish someone help

yeah so i went to my locall pet shop today and bought a new fish the tank said it was called a "robertsi synodontis" and i cant find info on the fish anywhere's does anyone have any idea what this is? its silver with a redish tint, has 2 black dots one near the tail and one by the heart, and it has a normal mouth and its only about 1 inch long. any info would be great. it keeps chasing my bala shark around but its scared of the pictus catfish.

i have a feeling that they messed up on the fish name at the store cause thats deff not the fish it kinda looks like a tiger barb but instead of the stripes it has 2 dots...hmm

what sort of body shape does it have? does it kinda look like another fish you know of - just to give us a few ideas

Synodontis is a catfish scientific name so it should resemble one if it is. They probably did mess up the name.

yeah it looks a lot like the tiger barb with dots instead of stripes and the 2 dots are in the exact place that they are on the blue gourami...
