hmm last couple of pics look like some sort of barbs rather than ranbows... but i mnot sure lol. the last pic looks like the neon/cardinal tetra got photo-shopped lol
the red rainbowfish are really sometimes that red. What makes them so darn pink in that photo is the lighting they use on that tank. there are some lights that really improve and highlight the red and orange colors. same way marine lights highlight yellow and white colored fish...

Yeah the last two are barbs.

1st one is Puntius fasciatus pradhani (Melon Barb)

2nd is Puntius nigrofasciatus (Ruby Barb)

Love em!

I figure since I already need more gold barbs

may as well add some from the same family.

So far I think I'll get:
Red Rainbowfish - Glossolepis incisus

Sepik Rainbowfish -Glossolepis multisquamatus

Yellow Rainbow Fish - Melanotaenia herbertaxelrodi

And the barbs if they can co-exsist together. :D

I checked out AqAdviser and it came up with this:

Featherfin Catfish (71.6-78.8°F)
Red Rainbowfish (71.6-75.2°F)
Turquoise Rainbowfish (68-75.2°F)
Parkinson Rainbowfish (68-78.8°F)
Gold Barb (73.4-80.6°F)
Dwarf Honey Gourami (72 -82 °F)

Any advice on a median temp?

Any recommendations as far as algae eaters go? Hoover's gotta go, hes too aggressive and ugly..lol. He's just a common pleco. I was thinking maybe a clown pleco? I dunno, I'm clueless when it comes to those types lol.

clown and BN plecos will do well for you. get 1...

median temp looks like 75F. its perhaps the warmest the ranbow can take, and itll likely fluctuate.5 of a degree anyway .
