A Sick Fish!

I have a sick fish. Can someone please help me? It is a White Cloud fish. For the last 2 days or so, he has been staying towards the top of the tank. I recently noticed that his eyes seem to be puffed out. Does anyone know what this is and how it could be treated? Thanks in advance for your reply!

What are all your other fish behaving like?

I would guess that there is not enough oxygen content in the water and so the fish is floating near the surface. Are its gills inflamed out?

Well it sounds like it might have popeye. All my swordtails had it untill I put them down. I just didn't want to spend the money on the medicines for such cheap fish.

Is popeye contagious to the other fish? They seem fine at the moment. No other problems.

Now the fish with the disease has one eye left. He is having a hard time swimming. I guess it is about time for him to go. This is the only part I hate about keeping an aquarium. It's so sad! There is nothing left that I know to do.
