Hey guys. I know a lot of you don't post in the freshwater section, but there's a post about superglue possibly being toxic to fish, and humans... http://www.myfishtank.net/forum/showthread.php?t=36062

I left my feedback, having used the stuff for frags and having experienced no problems. However, I've only been supergluing and fragging for less than six months, so my personal experience may not mean that much, though I can speak for guys who have been doing it for years.

LordRaod i read that thread earlier today, but didnt reply to it at the time, but super glue is completely inert once it is cured, like some one else posted in that thread, it basically turns into acrylic when cured...It is only toxic when it is fresh or wet. So, as long as you let it set and become fully cured you should not have any problems with toxicity. Hope this helps.

BTW- If it was terribly toxic in the first place, they woouldnt use it in surgical procedures.
