A vacuum for tanks?

I have a messy pleco that is really starting to dirty up the bottom of the tank with his leavings... Is there a vacuum out there that is really good? I would really like to keep the tank bottom free of nasties...

Python. No substitute. It works and it's easy.

yup, 2nd that. a python siphon makes water changes and vacuuming 10x easier.

I eventually would like to get the python, however, the little cheapy at wal-mart that is 5.00 is great. The first time I used it was the first time I EVER vacuumed a fish tank and it was so simple. If you have the "extra" money, get the python. If you don't really have "extra", get the cheapy.

Now all I need is for someone to insure the tanks for water damage if any occurs and I'm set... As long as my landlords dont wig out in the morning when they see my tanks lol

walmart has the python for a decent price, id love to have one also, but like shauna i got the cheap one for now, it works pretty well.

If you really want to save money for a Python just cut up a plastic drinks bottle and attach a bit of tubing to the top.Instant DIY vacuum.
