Does a Spotted Botia eat algea? If so, how good are they at it? The tank is still new but I am curious for future plans. Would an Otto and the Botia be able to handle my 29 gallon Tank?

Yep that is exactly what I have. Thank you I have been looking everywhere to try and find out what this was. By the way they are VERY cool fish. They have the activity and the looks. Now in the info it says that they like the company of there species or other bottom dwellers. Do you think that he would be fine with what I have in my tank?

I always like to keep loaches in groups of 3 or more, because I think they are more active that way. You can see how he/she is and then decide. In terms of compatability, he should be fine with the other fish. I have kept mine with most of the kinds of fish you have, without problems. Occasionally, mine will swim up and bug the angelfish, but there haven't been any fights over it.
