Acclimate shrimp?

Do ghost shrimp need to be acclimated? If so for how long or is it the same as fish? On my anacharis ive noticed hair like strands of algae, will ghost shrimp eat that? How much would you prefer adding to a heavily planted 10g? I've read that 6 to 8 is what is recommended and my lfs sells 3 for a dollar. Thanks

ghost shrimp dont eat hair algae or any algae. you would be better of with amano shrimp or cherry shrimp. if you get cherry shrimp, set up a snall 3 gallon tank and you can easily breed them.

I would reccomend going through your normal acclimation process, cant hurt.
