Acrylic Polish

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section so let me know if I should post somewhere else.

First off, I have a 90 gallon acrylic tank. It has some small surface scratches on the inside and outside that I would like to get rid of. I recently purchased some acrylic polish and fine scratch remover made by Novus. I purchased the #1 and #2 Novus acrylic treatments. I have used both of them on the outside of the tank and it has worked nicely, but I was wondering if it is safe to use on the inside? Also, is there any other acrylic polish that would be better?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It looks like the manufacturer recommends it for aquariums, but you might want to e-mail them to check if it's non-toxic for fish (it says it's non-toxic, but not specifically for fish). http://www.noscratch.com/novus/uses.shtml (there's a link for an e-mail).

I'm not sure if it would be suitable for aquariums, but for $10 AutoZone have a great product available which gets rid of scratches on car windscreens. Might be worth checking out.

I'd be nervous to place any substance that could possibly be toxic into my tank. It's a big risk.
