does this count as "LIGHT" or does it have to be shut off on a photoperiod? i have heard from some lfs's that they run actenics 24/7, is thid for real?
I turn my actinic light off at night along with my other bulb, but is because I only have one switch as well. I actually never thought of leaving an actinic light on.
Me too, but like most of us. I cannot afford it right now. I would like to get two more regular floursent lights just to have to more lights with another plug.
I have my timer setup to turn the actinic on about an hour before the 10K, and to stay on about an hour after the 10K turns off. I also have "Lunar Lights", so those stay on all the time.
I just use two run of the mill "home depot" timers. I may get one of these, but it still wouldn't give me the funtionality I have with the two seperate timers.
yea the coralfe timmer is what I use atm and it has been fine. I will be using an american dj switch with the coralife for all my lighting and timeing needs. Coralife products are very solid
