Currently in my 14G is 2 flame dwarf gouramis and 2 mickey mouse platys and one goldfish. I plan on taking the goldfish out soon as its getting its own tank again. With the 4 other fish in there. How many more fish can I add to the tank? Im wanting to add 2 emerald or albino cory catfish or maybe 2 angels. Would that be safe or should I stick to adding the 2 cory catfish and leave it at that?

Careful with the idea of angels and gourami together... There can be aggression issues. You would be better off with the cories.but keep in mind that most cories like to school, so you may need to get 5 or so.

Yeah i wouldnt get any angels and the tanks too small for them anyway and they prefer to be kept in groups. I would go for a group of smaller corys. I have 5 peppered in the 14g. Id get 5 albinos if you like them, the emeralds get fairly large for corys i read.

If I add 5 albino cory catfish would the tank become crowded? That would be 9 fish in a 14 gallon tank.

Thanks for the heads up on angels and gouramis not mixing well.
