Adequate lighting?

#1
Sorry if you have heard this time adn time again, but i couldnt find anything on it. But would a 96 watt PC be adequate enough to try my hand at corals? If i wanted to try harder corals down the road, should i get a higher wattage? like a 130 or something? any help is appreciated

It would be fine for most softies, lps, pretty much the basics and a bunch of stuff... I know lots of people keep many things on the 96 w coralife pc unit... (alot on MFT as well) sps would be off limits for PCs tho'... most harder corals (texture and skill level) lighting wise would need an upgrade to metal halide...while others would need certain amounts of trace elements such as Ca, Mg, Sr, etc. Depends on the coral itself.
